Alexander Vedernikov was born in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region in 1959, he graduated from the Moscow Engeneering and Physics Institute in 1982, candidate of technical sciences in the field of nuclear energy.
Has been engaged in photography since school age. Alexander Vedernikov is an author of numerous personal and collective exhibitions of photographs, the prize winner of russian and international photography contests.

In Novosibirsk in the museum of Nicholas Roerich opened an exhibition of photographs by Alexander Vedernikov and Pavel Platonov.

An open-air photo exhibition dedicated to the year of Japan in Russia opened on Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow.
Tokyo - 2017
In November of this year I visited Japan first time. It was trip in Tokyo in the company with Sergey Maximishin and photography enthusiasts.
Photo exibition "Land of Baikal"
In Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region opened an exhibition of photographs by Alexander Vedernikov. The exhibition includes landscapes, portraits and genre pictures made in the Baikal region over the last 10 years.
Choir MEPhI in Sochi
In July 2016, the first time Russia hosted the world choir games (WCG). 283 choirs from 36 countries took part in Sochi in IX WCG.
Academic male choir of MEPhI, as a newcomer of WCG, won two gold medals and became the champion of WCG in category "male choirs".
